Brown specializes in all aspects of complex cardiac surgery including minimally invasive surgery, complex aortic pathology, adult congenital surgery, the Ross and Ross-Konno procedures , coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiac valve repair and replacements, and the Cox-Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Fraser M. Keith specializes in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, as well as the full range of non-cardiac thoracic procedures, including bronchoscopy, thoracotomy, thoracoscopy, wedge resections, and lobectomy.

Midwestern Cardiac Surgery, Inc. was established in July 2002. David A. Brown, MD is the president and founding surgeon. He spent the previous ten years in practice at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, where he was responsible for more than 40% of all heart surgery performed at the institution. Dr. Brown is board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. Dr. Brown performs heart surgery at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield. Dr. Fraser Keith joined the practice in June 2004. Prior to moving to Mansfield, he spent three years in Tampa at LifeLink Transplant Institute and was at the University of California, San Francisco for eleven years prior to that. He performs heart and lung surgery. The office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
